1. Your agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website, applications, content and features offered by Go Roam Wild LLC ("Go Roam Wild," "GRW," "we," "us" or "our"), including the services at goroamwild.com (the "Service"). By creating an account, signing in or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to accept these Terms to create an account. If you are using GRW for an organization, you represent that you have authority to act on its behalf. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Accounts and security
Provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date. You are responsible for activity performed through your account, for safeguarding your credentials and for notifying us of suspected unauthorized access. If you sign in through Google, your use of that authentication service is also subject to Google's terms and privacy policies.
We may use email verification, CAPTCHA, access checks and other reasonable safeguards to protect accounts. We may restrict access or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten other users or the Service.
3. Discovery, recommendations and accuracy
GRW provides personalized suggestions, destination information, maps, events, recommendations and information contributed by users or third parties. The Service is intended as a discovery and planning aid, not a guarantee of accuracy or availability.
Hours, weather, schedules, prices, geographic details, safety conditions and event or travel requirements may change. Always confirm material details with the venue, organizer, property, transportation company, guide or other relevant provider before visiting, booking or traveling. Recommendations are informational, not professional medical, legal or safety advice. Use your judgment and follow local rules and conditions when participating in outdoor and travel activities.
4. Your photos, trips and other contributions
You retain ownership of original material you upload or post to GRW, including photos, comments, destination tips, itineraries and reviews ("User Content"). You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to contribute that material, including consent from identifiable people where required.
When you submit User Content, you grant GRW a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute and make that content available as needed to operate, improve and promote the Service in accordance with your selected visibility and sharing settings. This license ends when the content is removed from our systems, except to the extent continued retention or use is legally permitted or necessary for content already shared with others, backups and technical operations.
You are responsible for deciding what is public or shared with trip collaborators. Public content may be viewed, copied or indexed by others. Do not publish sensitive personal information, exact lodging details or the location of another person without permission.
5. Community rules and prohibited activity
Use GRW respectfully and lawfully. You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, discriminate against, impersonate or dox another person.
- Post unlawful content, material that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, or deliberately misleading reviews, events or destinations.
- Upload malware or use automated scripts, scrapers or bots to abuse the platform, bypass restrictions or overwhelm its infrastructure.
- Manipulate recommendations, follower counts, reviews or community signals through spam or coordinated deception.
- Advertise or solicit in ways that violate our rules or applicable law, or use GRW to facilitate illegal activity.
- Access another account without authorization or try to defeat authentication, privacy or abuse protections.
We may review, restrict, remove or decline User Content to enforce these rules or respond to legal requests. We do not promise to review all content before it appears.
6. Trips, booking links and third-party providers
GRW helps you organize travel plans and discover hotels, experiences, tickets, transportation or other products through independent providers. Unless GRW expressly identifies itself as the merchant at the point of sale, bookings and purchases are between you and the third-party provider, not GRW. The provider determines availability, fulfillment, payment, refunds, cancellation rules, eligibility and customer service.
GRW may receive affiliate or referral compensation when you click a link or complete an eligible purchase. This does not itself add a fee to your transaction, but we do not guarantee identical prices across websites. We provide clear commission disclosures beside relevant booking or partner links so that you can evaluate those recommendations.
Collaborative trip plans are informational and can be edited or removed by participants according to the features available. GRW does not guarantee a planned itinerary, booking or event will occur, or that another traveler will follow through on an invitation.
7. Our content, names and technology
The Go Roam Wild name, visual identity, software, design and our original site content are owned by GRW or its licensors, subject to third-party content rights. You may use the Service for personal, lawful discovery and planning but may not copy, reproduce, redistribute or commercially exploit protected platform content or software without permission. Third-party business names, event listings and images remain subject to their respective owners' rights.

8. Service availability and disclaimers
We work to keep GRW useful and secure, but features, sources, listings and integrations may be unavailable, incomplete or changed without notice. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of uninterrupted service, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or suitability for a particular trip.
Activities, travel and outdoor recreation carry inherent risks. You are responsible for evaluating local conditions, your abilities, and the safety and legality of plans you choose to pursue. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Liability and applicable law
To the extent permitted by law, GRW is not responsible for losses caused by third-party booking providers, organizers, inaccurate third-party listings, transportation disruptions, weather, activities undertaken away from the Service, or the conduct of other users. GRW is also not liable for indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages arising from use of the Service where such exclusions are lawful.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally may be brought before courts with appropriate jurisdiction in New Jersey, subject to any applicable legal rights you cannot waive.
10. Suspension, account deletion and changes
You may stop using the Service at any time and can request account deletion through available traveler-profile controls or by contacting support. We may suspend, restrict or end accounts or features when needed to enforce these Terms, preserve security, comply with legal obligations or protect the community.
We may update these Terms to reflect new features, law or business changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent allowed by law; if you disagree, stop using the Service.
