1. Who we are and what this covers

Go Roam Wild LLC ("Go Roam Wild," "GRW," "we," "us" or "our") operates goroamwild.com and related traveler discovery, community, planning and booking-referral features (collectively, the "Service"). This policy covers personal information collected through our Service, including account creation, optional Google sign-in, traveler profiles, trip planning, community contributions and communications with us.

When you follow links to hotels, events, experiences or other merchants, their websites and services have their own privacy practices. Please review their notices before giving them personal or payment information.

2. Information we collect

The types of information depend on the features you choose to use:

• Account and profile: email address, display name, username, profile picture, biography, selected home city or region, account settings and login provider information. If you use email/password signup, our authentication provider processes the credentials.
• Interests and personalization: hobbies, travel styles, destinations and activities you like or dislike, recommendation feedback, saved or dismissed places, and engagement with discovery content.
• Trips and social contributions: saved itineraries, shared trips, comments, discussions, photos, albums, reviews or other content you choose to submit, including the people and places you link to it.
• Location information: the city, region or other location you select, and approximate or more precise location when you explicitly grant device or browser location permission for nearby discovery.
• Communication and support: messages you send us, waitlist requests, signup or email confirmation details, and preferences for receiving communications.
• Usage, security and device data: pages visited, actions taken, device/browser details, IP address, session identifiers, referral information and records used to troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse and measure performance.
• Booking and referral interactions: searches, destinations or dates you select, and whether you follow an outbound referral to a travel, ticketing or experience partner. A partner may separately collect your booking or payment information.

Some destination, event and venue details displayed in GRW come from public sources and partners; they are not necessarily information about you.

3. Sign in with Google

If you select "Continue with Google," Google authenticates you and may provide basic account identity information authorized by you, such as your name, email address, profile picture and a Google account identifier. We use that information to create or identify your GRW account, sign you in, maintain account security and display your chosen profile identity.

Google sign-in does not give GRW access to your Gmail messages, contacts, Google Drive files or Google Calendar solely because you signed in. We do not use Google sign-in identity data to serve third-party advertisements or sell it to data brokers. We do not ask for access to additional Google account data without a separate authorization and appropriate notice.

Authentication and account information is processed through Google and our authentication provider, Supabase, to operate these features. You may review or revoke an app's Google account access in your Google Account settings; if you want to delete information already stored in your GRW account, use the account deletion controls or contact us.

4. How we use information

We use information to provide and improve the Service, including to:

• Create accounts, authenticate users and respond to support and security requests.
• Personalize recommendations using interests, feedback, relevance, timing, geography and other signals you provide.
• Maintain trips, saves, maps, social connections and community features you choose to use.
• Present nearby experiences when you request location-based discovery.
• Show relevant booking options and process referrals to independent travel or event partners.
• Prevent spam, fraud, abuse, unsafe conduct and technical errors.
• Measure product performance, understand usage patterns and improve GRW.
• Send account, support and service messages and, when permitted, product or marketing communications; you can opt out of promotional emails.
• Meet legal obligations and protect the rights and safety of our community.

5. How information is shared

We may share information in limited circumstances:

• With other travelers: content or profile details you make public, plus information you intentionally share with trip collaborators or through community features, subject to applicable product settings.
• With service providers: companies that help host and secure GRW, store data, deliver messages, measure website performance and provide authentication, including services such as Vercel, Supabase, Cloudflare Turnstile and Google authentication. They process information as needed for their services.
• With commerce and content partners: if you open a hotel, event, transportation or experience partner link or booking flow, the destination site may receive the referral details and information you choose to provide to that provider. GRW may earn an affiliate commission when you complete a qualifying transaction.
• For legal and safety reasons: when required by law, to investigate abuse or protect people and our Service.
• In a business transfer: if our business is reorganized, acquired or sold, subject to applicable legal protections.

We do not sell personal Google sign-in information to advertisers. Third-party links, analytics or advertising-related technology may be governed by separate laws and opt-out rights; contact us if you have a request about these uses.

6. Public profiles, sharing and community content

GRW is a discovery and traveler network. Some profiles, public trips, community posts, photographs, comments, follower relationships or travel contributions can be visible to other users and, where public pages are available, visitors or search engines. A private profile or restricted sharing setting may limit some visibility, but it may not remove content that someone else has already copied or shared.

Only post photos, trip details, or information about other people when you have the right and permission to do so. Avoid sharing sensitive details about current whereabouts, accommodation, or anyone else's private life in public content. We may moderate or remove material under our Terms of Service.

7. Cookies, location and analytics

We use cookies or similar browser storage to keep users signed in, remember preferences, help secure forms and understand basic site performance. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated account abuse. We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate site statistics; Vercel says its Web Analytics does not use cookies and uses a short-lived, daily-changing hash rather than persistent visitor identifiers. Authentication cookies and essential browser storage keep you signed in and preserve site functionality. Partner and affiliate sites may set their own cookies or similar technologies after you follow a booking link, subject to their separate notices. We will reassess whether additional tracking-choice controls are required before adding nonessential third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

If you enable location permission, your browser or device supplies location data to support local discovery. You can deny or revoke permission in your device/browser settings and still explore destinations by selecting a location manually. Your saved home area or previous selections may continue to influence suggestions until updated.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

• Review or update your profile, visibility preferences, interests and saved information using available account controls.
• Disable location permission in your browser or device and update your chosen home area.
• Remove content you posted where the Service provides that option, or ask us for help.
• Delete your account using the account deletion control from your traveler profile, or email goroamwild0@gmail.com for assistance.
• Unsubscribe from promotional messages using the unsubscribe instructions where included; important account and security notices may continue.
• Request access, correction, deletion or, when legally available, a portable copy of personal information by emailing goroamwild0@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy Request." You can also ask about marketing or profiling choices, or appeal a response where your local law provides that right. We may need to verify your identity before acting and will respond as required by applicable law.

9. Retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, honor account and content choices, prevent misuse and comply with legitimate operational or legal requirements. We do not apply one universal retention period across all account, community, analytics and security records. GRW's account-deletion process removes the Supabase authentication account and supported user-owned profile media; other records linked by database relationships may also be deleted. Some information may remain where legally required, in backups, for security or dispute handling, or where content has already been shared with others. Contact us for details about the categories applicable to your account; actual retention periods and processor deletion behavior are being reviewed.

We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, including authentication controls and abuse-prevention measures. No website, network or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Children and international visitors

GRW is designed for adults and is not directed to children under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and address it.

GRW is operated from the United States. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. Where applicable, we will honor legally required protections for international transfers and local privacy rights.

11. Updates and how to contact us

We may revise this policy as GRW grows or our practices change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required by law. The version posted here applies from its stated effective date.
